Went shopping with a friend looking for some warmer clothes for my trip to Maine in a few weeks - I know living in stretchy skirts and sun dresses will be ok for down here - for at least a few more weeks - but I know I need some jeans or something warm for Maine and then for the winter...so I bought my first maternity clothes - still a bit big but the jeans will be warm and a few dresses that should last me through the winter. I am actually excited that I get to wear the stretch belly pants for turkey day! Perfect timing on that front - I might just keep those jeans handy for future Thanksgivings :)
Had dinner last night with some friends - the Schillings (missed you Eileen!) - and they gave me a beautiful saint charm to wear...
Saint Gerard - the paton saint of expantant mothers....I'll end this post with a few words from one of his prayers -
